I don't trust them as far as I could throw them anymore.

OP,
You are correct: it's never "done"!
The $700 million divided by the 5000 dejobbed so far is $140K. I doubt that is the average payout, even if vesting RSU's are included. I think more RIFs are coming.
Exactly.
The tech titans' and globalists' ultimate goal was spelled out in the Georgia Guidestones. How interesting that the creators of that monument were never definitively named, and also how it was "mysteriously destroyed", with no one ever arrested or prosecuted for doing so. Anyway, they also spell it out cloaked in PC environmentalism via Agenda 2030.
Look it up.
This whole situation is way beyond just layoffs...with AI, their plan is to eliminate most of the world's population.
They think they have the capacity to become superhumans via The Singularity.
And that only "the elite" get to enjoy the "fruits" of their "AI labor".
Everyone else gets to suffer under incredible oppression, surveillance, poverty, and ill health, until the inevitable occurs. We peons are seen by them as being nothing more than superfluous dross, which needs to be cleared away from the chessboard.
Their goal isn't just to eliminate jobs, it's to eliminate lives.
They really are THAT arrogant, misguided, spiritualy bereft, and downright evil.
Layoffs are never "done" these days, at Oracle or anywhere else.
OP, This is the third major layoff in just over a year and you are just now losing trust? Look at the long term financials, AI is gaining productivity traction, Oracle has too many people... the list goes on. Layoffs are not over by any stretch of the imagination in fact they could get worse. Plan an exit strategy and execute it.
@OP It's RIF after RIF and reorg after reorg.
The responsibilities and workloads of those who remain will increase and morale will fall even further.
Compensation will continue to fall in value and RSUs will be recycled from the fallen to those who remain to cheaply try and buy their future "loyalty".
It's a pretty miserable situation. But hey, youll be told that you're lucky you still have a job.
