If you get an offer while on garden leave what happens?

While on garden leave, you are technically still an employee receiving full benefits; you are simply not required to work. If you accept a new job during this time, your supposed to submit your notice of resignation to Oracle. Doing so forfeits your severance, as resigning counts as a voluntary departure rather than a layoff.
take away, don't say nuthin if you find a new job.
You take the job and you still get the ORCL pay (and severance if applicable). If you are eligible for unemployment, you can't claim those benefits.
Don't tell them you get a new job. Double dip on whatever salary etc they give you
