Is this really happening in the US right now? Slack is showing 146995, but there haven’t been any updates for the past two hours

Definitely happened - I was impacted - IC4, OCI, 4 rating. No email, just locked out until I read about logging into web outlook then could see. Of course, no communication from management.
There is no layoff for H1Bs
I didn’t even get an email. Just no access to email or slack. Teammate confirmed I was deactivated from slack. Call my boss. He said he didint know. He said his boss was hit too.

People are deactivated in Slack down about 3000. I believe this is US only. I have no doubt there will be more across the globe
I don't see anyone removed from my team or sister teams (OHAI). So it's either all bullsh-t or OHAI is not affected this time.

Yes - lost people on my team including my manager.
I know 5 people impacted, including myself. For myself I am 6 months from retirement, so it’s all good.
