Throwing stuff against the wall & expecting it to stick. The company hires contractors for things nobody wants to do and nobody can do. Where is the logic there? They treat people like C***p too. No respect. TRAIN your own people & GET RID of the idle Middle Managers that know nothing & hire the consultants.

Oh but if we don’t hire super expensive contractors who just plug everything into AI anyway - we can’t afford to lay off the people who actually know or understand the business?!?
Contractors are there to get work done. Employees are for availability and responsibility, not actual work.
The best part is that the contractors cost way more money than the former FTEs.
adding...the company hires contractors to help out teams' workloads as they displaced so many FTE. it's a sh*t show no matter how you slice or dice it
