Pay range adjusted?

It seems like the pay range has been adjusted lower on workday. Does everyone see that?

@xd midpoint is the unofficial salary cap. My meager "raise" this time put me close to the midpoint, and my manager was very clear with me to not expect much going forward.

Curious, does US Bank pay over midpoint to employees? Or is the midpoint an unofficial cap on salaries?

We can still pay above midpoint but it takes approval. Basically GK has no confidence in Elfio’s HR so now there is a control.

@cq 3% fee will be waived you just have to call our customer service in India and wait for 2 hours to talk to a representative

I heard we're all going to start getting our paychecks in rupees, and we'll have to deposit them in a US Bank account to get converted to USD and of course there will be a $30 service charge AND a foreign currency conversion fee of 3%.

This bank already paid less. Now they pay lesser.

Can you be more specific? Is this about Workday Compensation or Workday Career Hub listings?

I'm surprised others didn't notice. As others have said the ranges have NOT changed. The POSTED ranges on job openings HAS! job openings show 85% to 100% of midpoint, used to be 85% to 110%. Midpoint is now the real max. The approval matrix for comp changes/new job offers DID change. I am curious if HR Comp and GK will AGAIN not change the actual ranges in December like they did in late 2025. Every year they moved the ranges up approx. 3% but not last December. As usual, GK is a joke. What a clown show she is. AC was just as bad. Only a matter of time when we go to 4 or 5 days, with interest rates and cost of living going up and up, job destruction in US, job CREATION in India, her home country. And she did just fine in her compensation report in March, not to mention continued dividend payouts each quarter.

"We put people first". hahaha

@bj this is accurate. The postings used to show up to 110% of midpoint.

HR here. The range you see in job postings now ends at the midpoint, as we are no longer allowed to offer at 100% of mid or higher, without special approval from comp. The salary ranges remain the same, but what is posted in Workday has changed. But it's been like that for about a year now.

i had a friend at another bank tell me he was going to apply for a PM role here. he later sent me a Linkedin screenshot asking if that salary was really correct. it seemed 20% less than my current range and we are both in the same high COLA.

No change here, and the "Salary ranges and grades" article hasn't been updated in four months.

Are you fully remote? Because all remote employees were assigned to a single pay range quite a while ago.

It has been lowered and is in rupees now, even for US based employees
