C-suite endgame is two fold:
1) To own as few brick and mortor locations as possible. This doesn't just mean call centers, but store as well. Goal is 100% indirect locations.
2) To divest in labor, a.k.a. "the human tax". They will use A.I. and outsourcing to vendors to accomplish this.
What about the oh so helpful Sales Ops teams?

oh no not a severance or an easier job with the same pay! as a manager I'm shaking in my converse. Same person making all these post. Hope you don't work for the company any more because you're disgruntled asf. Imagine spending the time to upvote your own posts on here.
The OP is correct and from what i’m learning they will be modeling current corporate stores after the indirect locations. Basically one leadership role per store. The asm’s are going to start falling off. More responsibilty with current reps. Changes start in October and by next year corporate retail will look a whole lot different.
