Layoffs for wellmed will be end of September. They will sell off like Florida
I think it depends which market you work in.
Parts of it, like Florida and Houston, have already sold off to other companies outside of Optum/UHG
You saying Wellmed to be sold away from Optum / United to another company?
Not to spread a false rumor but I feel the probability is strong. Optum has been actively seeking divestiture of care delivery assets and have been doing so in NJ, FL, CA, WA and other markets. Many on the list for sale were recent acquisitions within 5 years.
What are you saying? Wellmed was taking over by Optum 2-3 years ago
