I left yesterday's town hall feeling hopeful, but that faded when Mike Lyons—confirmed to visit the Winston-Salem Parks Building for meetings and planned floor walks to greet teammates—never made it to my floor, even for the brief interaction we were told to expect.

I could give a rats behind if he came to our area or not. I heard all I wanted to hear from the blow hole from his first town hall. If he does come, I’m not planning on standing up to shake his hand.

He made it to our floor at Parks. I’ve never once met Bill Rogers in 6 years but met the new boss on day 3. Already an improvement, though that’s not saying much.

@bf all you have to do is read the biggest brown nosing comments on videos. The one where Bill said he was leaving actually had a head up his ar-e commenter saying Bill would make a great POTUS! Good grief. How brown nosing do you have to be. KK sold out every single BB&T employee. This wasn’t a merger of equals. It was the SunTrust borg assimilating into Truist. I came after the actual merger and was sad to see what KK allowed to happen to his very good and loyal employees.
To be fair, KK is the one who really sold out Winston. Hilarious how when the merger was announced, W-S was to be the “consumer hq”, Very clear that was just for PR with no intent behind it- hate it for my hometown and watching the big green building a step away from abandonment
To be fair to him, there were probably a bunch of people just following him around and su-king up to him.

Anyone who thinks he will spend much time thinking about Winston, Wilson or West Jefferson didn’t read the Bloomberg article.
