Then wouldn't the smart thing to do would be to buy some stock? Participate, don't whine.
It's artificial. Just because they made it legal still doesn't change the fact that a company can buy a ton of stocks to influence price.
@115 that's not artificial inflation, that is an industry business practice. "Years ago" doesn't mean anything, it has changed and it is legal and normal now
On March 3rd of this year, Dell had announced a 10 Billion Dollar Stock Buyback program. Buying ones stocks to boost stock price has become an acceptable practice in recent years. A few decades ago, it was not allowed. Buying back ones stock definitely increases stock prices.
