Does anyone know when benefits will expire after VSP separation date 9/4?

I was told the last day of the month unless you participate in the COBRA plan.
The VSP benefits guide page 12 says: Non-ICHRA state: Your participation in medical, dental and vision insurance will continue through the month end of the month in which your employment ends. Any premiums for the month that your employment ends will be withheld from your final paycheck; depending on your termination date, you may have double deductions withheld on your final paycheck to pay for the full month of coverage. Says the same thing for ICHRA state.
@OP I asked HR yesterday, she stated September 30th.
@OP Last day of Sept. unless you participate in the COBRA months on your severance letter. Call HR to verify all.
@a3 my guess is it varies depending on years of service. Mine shows 8 months of cobra.
From what l read in the policy, under normal circumstances benefits continue until the last day of the month of employment. If that’s true l think the 4 months of COBRA would be from Oct 1st to Jan 31st but would need to confirm with HR
