I’ve heard a handful of people in the different offices were already let go, and the NZ office is gone now. Is this a trickle effect? Wondering how far we have to wait for the other shoe to drop.

"By" the end of September.
Starting after Labor day. Continuing through the end of September. October First the planned waves should be complete. (Doesn't mean they won't also do layoffs in October just for fun though.)
I heard it was gonna happen end of Sept, but a member of my team was laid off today.

Been here a few years now, seems layoff season can be anytime from end of summer til the holiday break in December but it’s typically a gauntlet of a few weeks once it starts. They will fire you for Christmas they dgaf

Probably the US client banks MUST know where their customer personal data is going and how it is being handled off-shore..
There are hundreds of theft/cheating incidents with Senior Citizens, originated from this very off-shore location. search youtube for real videos. How did they get that information and target ONLY senior citizens ???
If US Bank reps are reading this.. insist Fiserv not to pass your customer data for offshore access.

@f8 Next week an email will be sent announcing 3-2 hybrid working. One vp has already told their team while another was overheard whispering about hybrid work. But we dont know if hybrid will apply to all business units and to all individuals.
So its looking like we'll either be fired next week or potentially have better working conditions.

We're just at the beginning. They have decided which teams will be impacted. I know this because I've had a couple of people tell me their boss (VP and SVP) told them this week that their team is safe. My boss hasn't said anything, but I also haven't asked her. I personally know a few people who have been let go over the last couple of weeks, but I've heard rumors that the big cut is starting next week. Prayers for all impacted.
Too many rumors but I don’t see anyone being let go. Perhaps this is the quiet before the storm on 09/17

@ay this makes sense as they put a calendar invite for TG to speak to the company in 2 weeks. Wonder if they will announce the wfh mandates then.
@ay that's interesting and I can sort of see that (but I also have a hunch they will continue to hire more in India to save on cost). I can't even imagine all the talented people that left when FB implemented his draconian RTO mandate. I've been with the company since before Covid, but when they started the RTO, the attrition was so bad in my particular division they had temporarily pause it and do a hybrid schedule to get people to stay. That only lasted for a couple of months, then Friday was the only WFH day, which was later removed too.
There's a rumour of more remote working options because Fiserv is struggling to hire top tier talent. The thinking is Fiserv will quietly layoff over the next two or three weeks then announce more remote flexibility as a good news story.
