there is no risk at this bank. to offset the lack of true loan production, lack of quality in bankers, and lack of desire for small business/commercial/mid mkt companies to bank with Truist they are moving out on the risk curve to show loan growth. this wont end well during the next downturn. there are some real dopey fellas/gals with sizeable pens at this bank.

What are the odds the CRO and his direct reports survive once the new CEO takes a hard look at their résumés, actual qualifications and reputations across the industry? With Bill gone, connections and blind loyalty may not be enough to shield weak leadership anymore.

@dp He has no meaningful depth in anything. He has failed in a lateral pattern most of his career.

He has no clue what he’s doing and keeps throwing re-orgs at the wall hoping for a magic solution. Too d-mb to understand it’s a culture issue, not a structure issue.
