I show up at the office. I sit there for 8 hours to the exact minute.
All I do is hang out, talk to people around the office, scroll on my phone and watch Netflix on my iPad.
The best part is with this new 8&skate culture there’s really no pressure to deliver anything anymore. As long as you show up and sit you get an exceeds rating.
I’ve significantly reduced my hours and no longer feel any stress or pressure because I no longer care. I’ll stick around and keep doing the exact same thing until I’m paid to leave.
You bootlickers can keep ki-ling yourselves to pick up the slack while I get the same rating, pay, and bonus for 1/8th of the workload. You keep working hard and paying my bills while I keep chillin. Thanks!

@dj That’s funny. My experience is the total opposite. Before RTO I would get responses at all times of the day. Now, if I send an email after 1PM it’s almost a guarantee that I will not get a response sooner than the next morning.
You can try to keep pushing this false narrative, but the reality is completely the opposite of what you state. Nobody agrees with your BS.
It is undeniable RTO has increased presence online among many employees, especially later in the day. RTO has been the right decision.

They’ll give you more work and responsibilities, no title change, no pay increase, no additional bonus or comp to go with it. Been there, done that and I’m through with it. I come in, do what I’m asked, I help my teammates and those other teams I support to make their lives and jobs easier. Idc about whatever leadership pushes or what this AVP or director says, they are in their own brown nosing worlds that is devoid of the reality on the ground. I’m here for the paycheck and to help those around me that I care about jobs a bit easier.

Its been so ripe since covid that I pulled up stakes and 'pitched my tent' a few blocks blocks east with a 15th story view of our lovely white monolith. Our return-to-office policy is a mandate, not a suggestion. It is not open for debate, negotiation, or pushback.
We are transforming AT&T into an aggressive, market-driven competitor. If you are measuring your value solely by your individual daily tasks, you are missing the bigger picture.
Physical, in-person presence is required to build the culture this company needs to survive and win. Your personal convenience is secondary to our strategic execution.
If you find our corporate strategy or these working conditions unacceptable, the solution is simple: find employment elsewhere. If your personal expectations do not align with the direction of this company, you will have a difficult time here.
Immediate compliance and absolute focus are expected from everyone moving forward.

Same don’t really give a sh-t anymore, I show up for 7-8 hours, scroll reels, flirt with a few women on my floor, lunch with the boys. Repeat until I’m laid off, this culture is trash and I’ve lost motivation.

The sad reality is that you’ll work your a$$ off and you’ll get surplussed instead of the slackers. These metrics mean absolutely nothing. I’ve seen this happen hundreds of times over the years. All about management favorites, and the less threatening you are to them the more likely they are to keep you around. You clearly do not understand how this works. Must be new here.
