Lets get this straight. This is not your typical outsourcing. Cognizant uses TriZetto Healthcare software platform. It uses agentic AI tools like Flowsource and Agent Foundry. You are losing your jobs to A.I. and the jobs lost are gone forever. No further humans needed.

@by I think Sarah and gang are out of their minds. Centene is a Fortune 50 company and is pretty much in every state. They need people, not AI. Temps get paid much more than W2s, and talking about backfilling, that way they can pay them a lot less and put more money in their pockets. I just like how in previous town halls, they mention how well Centene is doing but behind the scenes they are laying people off to save money. Michael Niedorff was so much better than these fools.
Many corporations like Centene are hiding A.I. as the reason to let people go. Many states have AI job loss trackers and may implement tax repercussions for replacing humans with AI-Agents.
We were told in a Town Hall that the ones leaving will be backfilled by offshore and temps.
I wonder how long this will take for them to outsource these jobs. I’m guessing end of 2027?
I would wager that the current move to facets is the warm up to moving everything else there too.
Regardless of all the bells and whistles Cognizant will bring…… quality, member and provider services etc… will decline significantly.

Let’s not be naive. If claims processing and/or any other process has been fully automated using Cognizant agentic A.I. would you see a major corporate email blast?…..Or would you simply be kept fully in the dark now living through VSP followed by corporate layoffs?

Behind the AI curtain you will have thousands of offshore resources keeping up the illusion of AI. A nice shiny veneer for executives, new excuses and a shadow IT keeping the lights on.
And AI is being overblown by just about everybody who hasn't tried to code with it. Useful for POCs? Yep. Quicker than StackOverflow for questions? Yep. Able to design and code an enterprise-level system? Not even close.
