Anyone hear about layoffs later this year? Someone on my team with connections said there will likely be layoffs in December/January depending on how many people quit with the November RTO mandate. The wish from the top is many people quit instead of return.
Plot twist is the layoffs would not just be in Minnesota, but elsewhere as we continue to wind down presence in various locations.

@17d It's incredible the level of faith they have in these "AI" tools. They are not intelligent, they are massive data aggregators and processors. You can only wonder at the criteria these tools have been given to make such assessments of 100K employees. It will likely result in a cull of key personnel with functions and activities that the senior management & "AI" tools do not understand nor care about. By the time they do, it will be too late, and the inexorable decline will continue to race towards the bottom.

Some orgs are going to evaluate the effectiveness of people at Medtronic with AI, take notes of all your accomplishments… it’ll likely be brutal after q2 earnings…
