How many people live off their bonus and it isnt a true bonus?

@1v1 it may be. I am fortunate with my bonuses but by the time they come around i am drained from the previous year’s bullcrappery at the office. I know many people should have better bonuses and paid time off.
@rn yes, your interpretation is correct. I use my bonus to make ends meet as my base pay is to low to cover COL increases. Wondering if this is a common practice
My bonus always su-ks and isn't enough to get too excited with considering the prices that it costs to do anything these days let alone buy anything.
@OP are you asking if people need to use their annual bonuses to supplement their monthly pay? Like they don’t make enough money to live on? So they use the bonus to eat and pay the mortgage instead of being able to save the bonus or use it for something fun or special? That probably is the case for some people.
