These are growing in number, so I just thought to warn other people who're as desperate to leave as I am. Be careful of recruiters reaching out on LinkedIn, and if a job looks too good, it probably is. Check the name, the phone number, and the company. Sadly, times like these attract many predators.

Don't know about cricket and curry. But I heard lot of them originates from East Europe. It is true that scamming is going in high numbers. Scammers are scammers they don't have nationality and they are there across the globe I would say
There’s a certain country where scamming is the national pastime. It happens to be the country that loves cricket and curry. They are the main perpetrators in these scams.
