Having to waste more than two hours on commute is certainly not making me more productive. What it is making me is resentful and slow and absolutely unwilling to go the extra mile, something I used to do all the time. I'm betting you RTO will turn out to be the biggest productivity ki-ler.

Id guess over 50% have never been in since mandate. Lets see what happens. Obv dont want anything to happen, but lets see how serious this is
@2tz so what about those that don’t come in and are extremely useful? We have a lot of folks in tech that don’t come in because they are releasing code to prod or troubleshooting issues at all hours of the night. How does that factor in to your very primitive assumption?
Not sure how accurate this is, but from what I'm seeing on the tech side, they're still actively hiring across multiple teams. Seems like a weird move if layoffs were actually being planned, usually reqs get pulled first. Take the "insider info" with a grain of salt.

They are tracking at high levels. Making their lists. Giving just enough rope. When the layoffs come in the next 5 weeks those that didn’t come in and were borderline useful will be let go.
