From someone who was cut in June, if you think you're going to get cut, or if you feel like you're within a mm of wanting to leave, get started looking. The job market is saturated right now with people looking for work after layoffs so finding something is more difficult than usual.
@1q0 im seeing the exact same sotuation in my department and if they cut anymore and put that work on me I told myself im fu--ing leaving. Enough is enough
Of course there will be at least some more. I struggle to imagine how business could continue if more in my area were cut. Everything around me is a fourth of what it once was. We’re still struggling to figure out how to operate amid ongoing org changes, which has left many struggling due to lack of direction and not being given a clear remit or direction on where to reassign ‘discontinued’ responsibilities per work in progress that’s part of structures that no longer exist, yet the work is still there, but if they cut even more around me, there just won’t be anyone at all left.
That is because it's run my unconscionable human garbage.
