In social media, OP = Original Poster (the person who started the thread).
On this platform, that ‘OP’ is also part of the post ID system.
How post IDs work here:
- Every thread has a unique thread ID
- Every post gets an ID in the format @prefix+threadID (the OP is always @OP+threadID, while replies get their own prefixes , like: @ae+threadID)
- You can reference a post by typing the full post ID (like @OP+1kyvv772p ), or just the prefix if you're already in the same thread (like @a5 )
