@af Seriously? Rude much? Could be they hired OP to make them look good. I was actually told by a manager that it was my job to make him look good. After I called him an id--t and packed up my stuff to leave, he said I may not be allowed to come back if I left. I said my leaving meant I had already made that decision, not him. Then he backtracked and left me alone until the 6 month manager rotation sent him to another team. Never heard his name mentioned again.

Because, good or bad, they know the inside mechanisms of a beastly company. The goals is always to show positive growth, just the appearance of “everything being okay” They are masters at keeping it going, “the lie”
