Thread regarding Wells Fargo & Co. layoffs

Unassigned seating

Hey bootlickers! Please stop monitoring where everyone sits. Someone reported me that I'm working from the cafeteria. Hey MF you obviously have ZERO work to do to care that much. Joke is in you, my manager don't even care where I sit. And yes I'm gonna sit by the snacks, the sun, away from you. WTF this place is he-l.

It’s inhumane years from now there will be documented psychological studies on the impacts. Is workplace abuse.

They refuse to assign desks, but then demand that you sit where they want. There's no way to make it make sense, and of course that's exactly how they want it. The torment is the lone objective, clearly.

We had moved up to an area where there was unassigned seating. Weren't really given any instructions other than report there first thing Monday morning (we moved from a previous floor).
Arrive and under that assumption picked a seat and then management came in and started freaking out.
To the effect, even though it's unassigned we all need to sit together. Preferably the seat you pick stay in it, we have to keep everyone together.
Some weird rule about staying with the group during a fire drill and rules about having to let someone know if you're staying OT after hours and who is staying. A manager has to be there etc.

Didn't really make a lot of sense. I worked jobs where I'm on my own with interacting with other people yes females if anyone is concerned and no management around. What they think will happen especially these days?

I can't even get some people to be friends on social media, so I think 'that' is the least of anyones worry.

Ahh yes the day and life of a center building employee.

I work from the can, even bring my own personal sh-t to meetings. Flush once if you think the managing directors have a great idea!

People in Chandler - You better stop hoarding the offices, focus rooms, and other areas. It's the same ones day after day.

@a3

Nope. Won't be changing that any time soon. I'm not going to spend my day sitting around plebeians like you. Find a way to live with it.

People need to mind their own business. I don't work for you, or with you, and I'm busy. Go away.

Who the heck did the report to? And was that person smart enough to laugh directly in their face and tell them to stop wasting their time with that BS?

I don’t mind if you work in the cafeteria but people stop making the touch point and focus rooms your personal offices for the day! I and others can’t find an open one when we need one. Fu--ing entitled spoiled brats! Every one of them should get an IM.
