Novanta Corp. is laying off 49 employees at its Cicero facility. Manufacturing operations will be moved to other locations, including California and contract partners. This move aims to simplify operations and reduce costs. Approximately 30 non-manufacturing employees will remain at the site. The layoffs are scheduled to conclude by mid-April.
