@a8 no disrespect but then honestly they should not have offered VSP to people in areas where they didn’t want to decrease numbers in the near term. None of it makes any sense - it just appears they took some very bad advice from consultants on how to go about all of it.

You can't assume VSPs can be grouped into the same category. They involve different business lines and membership volumes. VSPs with 2027 separation dates may relate to plans where there is no need to reduce staffing. VSPs with earlier separation dates are likely connected to Marketplace plans or areas where staffing reductions are needed sooner.

Someone needs to get a hold of the media! Nowhere did it say there may be dates extended out past a year, nowhere! How is this even legal?

With some of the dates so far out I wonder if they decided everyone that wanted to go can go and they’ll rehire (and know when they need to) when that time comes. I’ve not heard of any VSP declines yet. It’s like they’ve not even considered the toxicity of the workplace and how EVERYONE is angry: those who have to stay longer, those who have to work with those who have to stay longer and disgruntled, those who may still get laid off….it’s a sh*tshow. They’re def burning down the culture and starting anew.
