They said they would give it to anyone that applied. Nobody got rejected.
@a8 I think you may be right... I have an 11/27 date and they sure as he-l know that no sane person would accept such a manipulation..

@a8 I agree, anything past the end of this year is theoretically a rejection and I would still be concerned about layoffs. Sure they had more VSP volunteers than expected, but clearly with extended exit dates, those were not ares where reduction was needed.
I’m already out and feeling extremely blessed. If you applied and your separation date is next year, I would start looking. Clearly they know you’re dissatisfied and could potentially be under scrutiny from now until then.
Frankly, I would consider Nov 2027 exit date to be a rejection.
