I am in corporate HR, Im taking all my PTO that I can. Im going to be on medical leave as part of this. I scheduled a needed surgery ahead of all this BS. Dont care if they have a role for me after. Looking for another job while Im out. Good luck to everyone!

@a6 Im leaving that day. I have scheduled PTO. I planned that as soon as the dates started coming out. The bossy boss who posted in another reply ofcourse is thinking they know my situation. Another micromanager Im sure. My longer have to deal with that type of manager.
@a3 I can assure you as an HR employee that your last day is not this coming Friday. You may be confused. PL will be notified on Friday, perhaps that is what you saw.

@a3 - is that what the VSP email told you? That your last day is this Friday or are you leaving that day with saved up PTO? The original date was 9/1, so a last day of 8/1 seems a bit crazy
