@p7 What comes around goes around. Have no doubt Ryan will be fired when they realize all of his cuts have actually hurt the company lol. Granted he will never need to work again with all the money he’s raking in

Anyone who thinks Al or any other CEO wouldn't have done this is so naive. AI is replacing people everywhere, starting from tech companies. This is fact, whether you like it or not.

Coincidence? Looks like they waited before and after FIFA soccer since they are BIG sponsors. Several ITs were impacted in May of this year

@jy I meant it as having more weight on our performance evaluations, but it could have always been that way and I was just in denial.

@jj Had mine and they just said it was org restructuring. Genuinely think this is just a short term way to cut costs before FY 27

@jf wouldn’t be surprised if he increases his salary once again this year to account for all the “growth” he’s created.

@jn AI usage measurement has been started for a long time.

@jj I think we're heading down the path of 'doing more with less' especially now with AI in the mix. Wouldn't be surprised if we start getting measured by our AI usage.

I hope they are explaining to those affected why so in the calls.

VAS and CMS are literally the main growth areas.
Tech and Product are the main innovators using AI to do more. I would have thought the Non Technical areas were more at risk?

@je 54 Million a year he earns 208-254 times the median employee salary... These cuts will be framed as efficiency gained from AI rather than the reality of cutting cost to offset the AI expense without ROI.

@j4 about 20-30 mins they schedule 30 mins on the cal.

Seems like Na and LATAM today some of Uk. Europe / CEMEA Africa tomorrow, APAC tomorrow and remember we have folks in India Bangalore and even new zeland so that’s why it’s over the course of 2 days

Doesn't your heart go out to poor Ryan, he sounded absolutely crushed that he was sh-t-canning such a large proportion of the workforce.

Yes husband is affected. Max 12 weeks payout regardless of years of service. He was there for 13 years! Sc--w Ryan! It used to be 1 month per year of service under the old CEO, sad day!
