They are cutting costs with tenured employees and hiring
unlicensed people to train with no experience.

Unless you're naming departments, dates, etc. then this is just baloney.
A rumor for years. Every layoff and constructive discharge has reduce total employee comp goals. Not location or role limited. The safe play is don’t make waves, make bosses look good and don’t make too much. Playing safe also keeps you in debt.
