I just had my 6 month anniversary on Monday so obviously I am not eligible for the VSP. I am thinking there is a good chance I will be laid off by September 1st? Do you think that is how it will go?

this is my situation i was with Wellcare 10 years and laid off dec 2023 came back sept 2024 lost my tenure and now facing another layoff and of course i don't qualify for the vsp and stuck on should i start looking for another job and start over which is what i don't want to do or do i wait to see if i will be laid off
I am thinking you will be at lower risk as you are likely being paid a lower wage than someone who has more seniority. They will still lay off a small amount of new employees so they are not accused of discrimination, but I think you're odds of staying are better than most senior employees.
