Now that Uniondale is gone and we're all forced to commute to NYC, who here has been through a voluntary resignation? I'm curious what the process will be. Bc, I'm not voluntarily resigning. You're moving my office. You're forcing me out due to my own personal reasons why I cannot commute to NYC.

@OP I dont believe you have to do anything. They will do it for you when you stop showing up I guess. But then you will be fired for cause. Its still the same result. Why not just try and find another job? Can you afford to not work? I wish I could.
@rm so now you’re in the same boat you were in here?
@OP looks only option is short term disability for 12 wks. Regular rank and file cannot and should not trust mgrs and management
I voluntarily resigned when I got a new job. New company had hired people full time remote and are forcing them to come to the office. It isn't just BNY.
If someone could just answer the question that would be greeeeeaaat
Please see prior posts regarding Pennington NJ.
@aq, that’s one strategy. Go on STD then quit when you get back 3 months later.
BNY does not care about you. They are doing this to many people in multiple sites.
Just get a note from a Dr. plagiarize if need be.
Have it say you have an extreme case of melanophobia and you also injured your genitalia in a horrible RTO accident. Just have them say you can’t leave your home until further notice.
Send it to the people’s team. Problem solved for awhile.
