Thread regarding United Healthcare layoffs

Burnout comes from poor planning with automation to eliminate positions yet automation and BOTs make huge mistakes that somehow manage to have zero quality control. Tripling the amount of work to correct technology with limited workforce. It’s horrible and avoidable. As far as government payer related teams - give it another year and let states come audit. My guess is contracts may be lost and then maybe senior leadership will finally realize. Meanwhile … poor decisions with limited scope laying off quality people …. It will come full circle. Hopefully those who have been left - the good ones, will be there to help pick up the pieces. My guess is other companies with positions are looking much better than staying here.

Honestly, I don't even know anymore. They've eliminated so many positions and have swamped those remaining with so much work I know several working late hours and weekends just to be able to stay afloat and keep up. I will never think its worth your family time just to make the higher ups a few more bucks while your time and mental health is whittled away. Salary doesn't keep up with cost of living and inflation, but in the same breath you're made to "feel grateful for even having a job because one day... you might be at the end of the axe so take what you can get and su-k it up."......its terrible really.
