Most corrupt company ever

Zero consistency. Zero accountability. Zero integrity.

Right here in DFW, we have hundreds of managers working from home (I.e. Eric Smith team) or sitting in the office closest to their home; And non-market based staff managers spread out across the country working in their pajamas all day. (I.e. Korte org)
And how many managers with minimal skillsets are flying below the radar because their director doesn't want to give up headcount while seasoned managers with broad skillsets are being let go in other orgs.
Meanwhile managers that uprooted their families, moved to Dallas, adhered to RTO are being let go cuz they are the oldest in the team. YES IT IS HAPPENING! Most can't afford to forego the severance & fight it in court.

FU-K AT&T!

@OP Calm down OP, there is already a lawsuit against this. Just hang in there. We know it is happening. Lawyers know too. Several employees filed discrimination lawsuits against baldy here. Lets just hope this becomes a class action lawsuit so the Stank can sit in deposition.

There's no fairness or morality in capitalism. Corporations don't care about the workers, their focus is always only on profits. Period. This is America.
It is unfortunate that so many still don't understand that it's a rigged system.

The ethics of this company in the last 1-2 years is deplorable!! Just go check out the “AT&T Su-ks” Facebook page. It used to see a post once a week about somebody complaining they couldn’t get their phone unlocked. Now, it numerous posts everyday about people being lied to and cheated constantly. Care reps giving false and incorrect info, or even hung up on. Anything to get the customer off the phone to keep their daily call count up. The retail and home sales people doing ANYTHING, including illegal sh-t, to hit their sales numbers. As stated before, this company used to be a place of pride. Not so any longer. It’s the company of, Sc--w the Customer and Sc--w the Employee. Oh, and loyalty doesn’t exist here!

Why does this surprise you?

AT&T has outlived its utility. Isn't it obvious? Shedding experience is a way to get a bunch of young, lower paid earners who will rely on AI to get their jobs done. And where does the 'intelligence' in AI come from? All those experienced workers being shed. So, with AI, AT&T still gets to benefit from the folks who did the critical thinking while they hire a crew on people who grew up swiping and scrolling. AT&T can't afford to innovate. We can't. We need to pray that our vendors can deliver on new tech so that we can flop our branding on it.

Give it 20 years and maybe AT&T will be a good place for your kids to work, but for the meantime, the only people who matter at AT&T are a bunch of 50-60 something guys sitting in Dallas. The rest of us are fodder.
