HR can't keep secrets here. They are a bunch of slow bodies that have no clue except to avoid folks going thru litigation which brings legal as the other slow bodies.
Everybody has to question their leadership about the May 7th rif date. Make them deny it so you can learn never to trust them. Ask at every team meeting and all hands.
