Good luck to everyone. I'm kinda numb at this point, but I know I'll freak out if I'm laid off.

@aw and the expectation is to “tolerate it”
I hate they announce oh be on the lookout for an email instead of just saying it right then and there. Running the rest of the work day. They announced for us at 3 and I just didnt feel like working anymore.
@av What are they sadists? Lay off a bunch of people and then have a meeting the same exact day? Disgusting!
I don’t know about anyone else, but lately it feels like we’ve entered our “town hall Reputation era.”
For years, everything was fine—no concerns, no major issues, even told certain metrics weren’t something to stress over. Fast forward to now, and suddenly goals are being added after the fact, expectations are shifting, and everything is being tracked more closely than ever.
It’s giving “I remember it all too well” energy… because none of this was part of the conversation before.
And now with the push toward tools guiding performance, it kind of feels like we’re being asked to “shake it off” while the rules quietly change in the background.
Not trying to be dramatic, but it’s starting to feel less like a normal transition and more like we’re being lined up without really being told in our town halls.
Is anyone else in the same era right now?
Interesting that there is also a Town Hall tomorrow at noon.....
@a6 we are ready! Bags packed Incase
You might initially freak out but then what? Have a plan of action ready and frankly, anyone at UHG should already have one and be looking for ways out before being involuntarily exited on their terms. Exit on yours.
Noone will be affected
