Thread regarding Verizon Communications Inc. layoffs

Still waiting on “proof” that those caught in the Nov 20 cuts would have ALL outstanding RSU vest.

Basically, someone stated that the Nov 20 layoff was some kind of exception to the prorated RSU treatment that involuntary separations receive.

That those caught in this particular wave would have all future years (the two tranches for 2027 and the one for 2028) vest upon separation.

Any truth in this?

I was let go at the end of December and received all vested and unvested in one payment at the end of January. Clean sheet and although tax got me, at least I got everything.

all stock (vested and unvested) was paid out incrementally. Got like 3 checks, 1 for each vesting year, of stock dropped in connected fidelity account. STI hit last week.

That’s not true. They only paid you for 2025, and that was addressed in the package.

Your final payment per the package was last Friday with the bonus.

You may be to collect unemployment since you paid into it while you worked. It’s. Is not a lot but a little bit extra.

Oh and you can use Lee Hecht Harrison to help you find a job. That’s if you have activated it.
