Determining resignation date for bonus

The bonus plan states you must not have resigned or be on notice period on the award payment date, which is defined as:

"Calendar date on which payroll initiates delivery of the non-deferred cash portion of an award or if an award is solely in equity or deferred cash issuance of the award to a participant."

Does anyone know what date payroll initiates delivery?

That paragraph is nonsensical! But it seems like at least for the cash they’re acknowledging how once they load the ACH batch file you’re off limits. As a practical matter suppose you resign on a Tuesday 5pm of bonus week. Will the dou--epowers that be really move mountains to keep you from your bonus?

The part about non-cash will matter to some but that’s where what’s written is gibberish.

The TW article I read says that for voluntary termination you are not eligible for TVC “if notice is input prior to award payment date”. Don’t quit before it hits your account.
