Everyone around me is on edge with all the layoff rumors.

@a8 sounding like someone who isn’t already struggling financially. Some of us have to stress because we’re already underpaid and can’t survive without two incomes. I know stressing doesn’t help but if you do nothing to prepare yourself even mentally it will be tough! Speaking from experience…
@b1 it is rough out there. I’ve been applying for 3 months only had 1 interview so far.
How is the job market out there? Getting a severance and then job hunt in March might not be so bad.
Try not to stress about it. Layoffs will happen, they happen everywhere, especially with struggling companies. By now everyone should be preparing and seeing what else is out there, if they’re serious about their career.
