I am not sure where you found this information. If anything, Verizon leadership wants us in-office more. We are fed the notion that in-office work realizes improved collaboration, in my experience all it really does is improve wasteful communication.

I advocate for the remote work option. There is some research to indicate the benefits of this action, both for the employer and employee. I am looking at a new job, because that role is almost entirely remote.
