Thread regarding AT&T layoffs

Layed off from Vz

Job searcher here! Are any of your departments hiring? I have a MBA from Duke so I should be a preferred candidate for management jobs. I can relocate to Dallas if needed, but preferably would like to work remotely.

Duke tells students that their diploma is somehow worth more than UNC to justify the $360k cost over 4 years lol.

Good luck in your job hunt and paying off student loans.

No one gets remote here anymore, they don’t care about the quality of talent.
You’re better off looking elsewhere.

“Duke MBA” guy here is not fooling anyone.

Mr. “layed” off here is def Mr. “greatful” from the other day.

His dim light is shining through.

@OP

For a duke mba, wouldn’t the subject of your post be spelled as ‘laid off’ instead of layed off?

sigh - you would likely fit in well with some of the clowns in upper management

They're always hiring wire techs.

Idk whether to laugh or just cry laughing reading this. First, you aren’t special. Most people doing basic office work here have MBAs, some from even more prestigious schools than you. Means little. You should know by now it’s all about your network, if not, might want to get your money back from Duke. Second, no such thing as remote here. It’s 5x in office only. You might want to try and get a job with T mob. Third, most MBAs aren’t worth anything anymore, better go get technical degree.
