Thread regarding Verizon Communications Inc. layoffs

Looking at my severance amount and it looks like they did not include my vacation time?

Anyone else seeing the same? Maybe I am not looking at this the way I should. Please help.

Where it states "2025 STI Related to Severance: $0.00". This mean it will be paid out 1Q and is separate from my "Severance Payment" amount correct?

@a6 correct, lessens the tax load upfront

You will get your vacay time that is banked and also personal days depending on the state you work in. Your stock options will 100% vest and will be paid out also....they have been all along unless they updated that. Unfortunately you'll get soaked in taxes depending on your payout and can't defer it away in your 401k deductions. Talk to your tax and retirement professional also. GL

@a4 This.

Vacation is paid out as a separate transaction. I recall this when I got RIF’d in my last organization

Vacation is paid out separate. If your off payroll date is December - the vacation check will be deposited before the end of the month. (Speaking for NY only).

I was part of a prior RIF. You'll get your vacation paid.
