Thread regarding Verizon Communications Inc. layoffs

Anyone know more about R2B? Want to know what people in the department think.

A lot of people seem to think we’re getting axed. I’m not so sure. Wanted to see if any R2B reps have any insight.

There will be some people in the r2b space let go just like any other channel. There will be more reps with more than 1 store. And managers with more stores under them. New comp structure for 2026 already got communicated. And a big restructure between r2b & consumer would be in 1 market going in to 2026

B2b is going to roll to the corporate of guys and gals that go out to companies and set up systems and Wi-Fi etc. Cuz they'll sell wireless which is nothing but a commodity

@a3 Who knows, but speculation of mini b2b reps. That would make sense with bsod. Work your own stuff/territory then field leads.

@a2 What would a restructure look like? Taking us out of stores? I do t understand where they would place us.

I’ve heard restructure, not axed completely. There are talks of a new comp structure and kpi rollout.

@OP why would a business go into Best Buy to get business service through Verizon and not Verizon.com? I never understood that model in the first place. I hope you all land on your feet
