It's happening. Our org. received an email from our leader instructing everyone to work from home this entire week due to "some of the changes starting".
I know it is happening but my fear is if they don’t do it this week and we have to agonize and worry for at least 2 more weeks. They need to just this over with!
GNT was told to prepare for RIFs. So stop being in denial. It is happening.

The company, actually the CEO said his plans will be ready later this month. He also said there would be layoffs. Then everyone panicked. All the managers in my second level group were told to work from home Thursday and be ready for a call between 8 AM and 9 AM. Then the company said nothing’s happening. Then, “reliable sources,” said it’s happening this week! So, maybe it is and maybe it isn’t.
@a2 what does lining boxes mean? They have boxes ready for people to pack up? What location did you see this?

My only question is why would they effect their retail business in this way right before Black Friday / Christmas? Doesn’t make sense to me.
It’s definitely happening by Friday. They’re lining boxes at corporate sites.
lol I know there are a ton of unsubstantiated rumors on this page, but I wouldn't bet against layoffs happening this week.
