I am applying for a role but I’m being told it’s non-budgeted. What does that mean? It sounds risky even if I am internal.

Yeah, thanks but no thanks. Don’t need to move into a role that has shaky ground. Things are shaky enough.
It means they want to fill it if they get budget approval.
