If you are considering joining Sears... Don't do it...the pressure will drive you mad. In my location, 8 managers have left including myself over the last 12 months and the new ones cry themselves to sleep from what I have been told by some LOL.

Worked for Sears Auto in NJ for nearly 18 years part time. ASE certified, team player. Job dissolved on a day's notice with no severance pay at all. No loyalty for their employees. Greatly disappointed in this company.

Sears is marching towards bankruptcy, I predict we'll collapse sometimes in 2015. Once we declare a BK, we will reorg and downsize as much as we can to cut costs. Sears will fight to survive, I think it's too late to help us.

If you are in California you can look at the Regional and District Managers and understand why the stores are failing. They don't care about the managers or employees and it crushes the moral and loyalty that Kmart once had in it's employees.
