Its a 15% reduction, but they are going to hire overseas, which means the headcount loss from the US will be a lot higher than 15%. And the layoffs won't affect the road-map, IE you get shown the door when the chip goes out the door.

I use to think the term "right sizing" was the worst euphemism I heard. That is, until I went to another company, and heard the CTO, when talking about reducing cost, said that they needed to "curb engineering inflation"
