I would say that if Irwin were in charge, you could actually look forward to a bright future. But for the first time, he has nothing to do with all of these mistakes and the wrong persons have already been promoted and the right persons have begun to leave so it does not matter who gets laid off, I consider myself one of the talented persons who has already rebelled against a corrupt merit review system and taken a promotion at a more successful company.
So to sum it all up : you are right, things will not get better, and they might get much worse pretty fast.

Oh yes, another round of layoffs coming in FY2016, read the presentation carefully.
Lets say you survive that too, even in that case Qualcomm decides to split QCT (which no longer is JANA's pipe-dream given how things are spinning out of control for QC board of directors). You will be part of herd of goats delivered for a acquisition (read another layoff).
Layoff every 3 months seems like too much.. maybe every 6 months until JANA happy..
Layoffs will go on for months to come. It is part of "right sizing" and that is what is going on. A few 100 every month. Sad but true!!
