Topics regarding layoffs at Qualcomm Inc.

Got rejected from Google, again.

I interviewed last year as well but was unprepared. For the last one year I prepared for 2 hours a dat and 4 hours a day on weekends but I still could not make it. Any tips on how to do better?

Qualcomm wants more diversity

Qualcomm is becoming more racist, it says it wants more "diversity" be prepared for more people being put into positions not because of their qualifications but the color of their skin or gender.

I was interviewing someone for a tech job yesterday, and it was really frustrating. I couldn't understand his English.

It was the most infuriating thing. I asked him to write a program to sort a linked list, and to comment his code well. After his code was done, I couldn't understand his written comments written in English. They didn't make sense, and his code didn't... — read more

Qualcomm hurts PC industry

Why is it that only cheapo chromebooks come with LTE built into the device? It's Qualcomm's fault. The QTax of 5% is levied on the final value. Who wants to pay 5% on a $2000 gaming laptop? That would be stupid, and Qualcomm, by implication, is... — read more

For starters, most candidates couldn't even get past an o(n) = n^2 brute force solution, let alone a solution that was n log n or simply o(n)=n in efficiency... The problem: you have a sequence of integers that is alternating in sign.....Write an... — read more

Microsoft and GE dropped this management practice

Very good article that talks about why the rank and yank management system creates a back stabbing culture and stifles innovation. This is the main reason Qualcomm lost its ways. "Because someone would have to be ranked worst even on teams full of... — read more
