I was impacted by the WFR and I'm in North America too
I was impacted by the WFR and I'm in North America. Not sure how many of us were let go this round. The groups and roles/positions that I'm hearing about are random.
I know around 5-6 people got laid off with about 6 years of exp
@vozq+1rhrOJ2O Why would anyone have any respect for them when they treat employees like this time and time again?
Validated.... I have good firends that were impacted on Monday. I was impacted during the November WFR. Quickly losing repsect for HPE.
I agree: storage is a depressing place to work. The "leaders" leave a lot to be desired. 90% of people in my org in the US also desperate for WFR.
UK yes, services no. Storage
Let me guess, you are in Account Services in the UK?

What is the current severance package?
Used to be 11 weeks.
Also what departments were affected?
I was impacted today by WFR , I wonder what is the number of employees laid -off today ? and which geos, I am in North America
I got hit today. Severance is a pittance. Reputable companies, the REAL "great places to work" give you 2-4 weeks for every year. Not this dog.
My teammate was WFr’ed Today. 4/25/2024
Services joining global ops in hpe, so wfr coming there for sure.
It looks HPE is trying to hire some UEFI developers after they ran off many of their existing developers.
Hmmm.
HPE laying off employees AND contractors? Yikes.
Yeah, unfortunately we laid off a lot of useful contractors in the last 3 weeks. :-(
Same Anon that was WFR'd on 3/11 - should've included this in original comment - but FWIW I'm trying to get re-hired internally and was told all external reqs are frozen at the moment, and the next start date for any internal re-hires will be 5/1/24.
Was WFR'd on 3/11/24. How'd you predict this 19 days ago?
Another Monday and still employed
There will be NO March Layoffs!!!!
Heard nothing about any WFR planned for March.
It's a Monday and still employed, so off to the next Monday.
Sorry that should have said....90% of my team in the uk are desperate for wfr
90% of my team in UK are desperate for work.
Check the external careers site: hiring freeze already here.
Customers have left in droves, mostly remaining ones are locked in .They will be gone before long also.Unfortunately its a decaying industry. At least as far as companies like hpe /dell etc
@1jjb+1rhrOJ2O Do you have any further details on the Voice of the Customer survey which you can share on here?
Are customers not happy with the constant turmoil and shedding of key staff? Wow, what a surprise!
Weak Q1. No doubt hiring freeze on the cards. WFR will come knocking
Based on the last Voice of the Customer relationship survey, it may come to pass that most of us don't have a job soon enough.
Sure hope I am on that list!
