I was impacted by the WFR and I'm in North America. Not sure how many of us were let go this round. The groups and roles/positions that I'm hearing about are random.

@vozq+1rhrOJ2O Why would anyone have any respect for them when they treat employees like this time and time again?

I agree: storage is a depressing place to work. The "leaders" leave a lot to be desired. 90% of people in my org in the US also desperate for WFR.

What is the current severance package?

Used to be 11 weeks.

Also what departments were affected?

I was impacted today by WFR , I wonder what is the number of employees laid -off today ? and which geos, I am in North America

I got hit today. Severance is a pittance. Reputable companies, the REAL "great places to work" give you 2-4 weeks for every year. Not this dog.

It looks HPE is trying to hire some UEFI developers after they ran off many of their existing developers.
Hmmm.

Yeah, unfortunately we laid off a lot of useful contractors in the last 3 weeks. :-(

Same Anon that was WFR'd on 3/11 - should've included this in original comment - but FWIW I'm trying to get re-hired internally and was told all external reqs are frozen at the moment, and the next start date for any internal re-hires will be 5/1/24.

Heard nothing about any WFR planned for March.

It's a Monday and still employed, so off to the next Monday.

Customers have left in droves, mostly remaining ones are locked in .They will be gone before long also.Unfortunately its a decaying industry. At least as far as companies like hpe /dell etc

Based on the last Voice of the Customer relationship survey, it may come to pass that most of us don't have a job soon enough.
