Got severance last November and still haven’t got prorated bonus payment. Got the severance payment within 4 weeks. Has this happened before? Everyone I asked got the bonus payout. How to ask why, when and to whom?
Thanks.

@3yr it didn’t say 1.0, from what I talked to others, the target payout is announced if you were separated before normal bonus payment time, they use 1.0 by default. You should ask for the full plan document and global pay policy officially to get the clear explanation. ERISA is in the address of your signed plan to communicate with, not the other random people or department.
@4cz not true. The Offboarding guide document has a section on PAYG. Almost everyone I know had received PAYG if you were full time employee.
From what I remember from the documents I signed, by accepting the separation agreement and severance you forgo the incentive compensation bonus for the current year you separate from the company. At least that’s what I remember.
Where did it say that in the severance guidelines that you get a 1.0? Because now I have questions about my bonus payout.
@1qc oh got the response from them finally, saying they gave the performance 0 do no bonus. Is it legal? It’s beyond my comprehension how the leaders abuse the power.
@1qc the severance guideline states clearly it will be paid and they use factor of 1, not discretionary rating by line manger. It could be sued if they do so. Mangers should be left out of it once it’s severance. That’s my understanding.
But it seems it never happened to others before. So I’m going to assume it’s only a mistake they made on individuals.
Is it possible you had a 0.0 performance factor entered by your line manager?
@157
You're right it wont be on the W2; it would be on the paystub. Post severance it is the same website
Go on the fidelity net benefits... In the upper right hand corner are the communication boxes where you signup for things like insurance Check if they communicated with you there. I think that you can either call an report i or report problems with benefits to Fidelity
@11x I can identify the amount for vacation, severance and payout. They paid the former two, not the last one. W2 only show the total payment for the whole year, not itemized payment. No access to payroll for each period anymore. Just need to know who is responsible to process and ask the correct contact person. It seems it’s a puzzle. Business HR is not answering, HR operation only provide standard reply without substances.
In NL i just got the pay without any specifications. It was more then I was promised so I just guessed the bonus had been added.
Was glad to get out, did not want to deal with Shell stuff anymore, so let it be.
is it possible that you got multiple payments on the same day so you're not recognizing them as different sources?
Check that W2 website for your last pay stubs. If it isn't listed as a line item on the total and final stub then you haven't gotten it.
Get your lawyer to chat with them
@v2 Ty hanks, I’ve been contacting them for two months, they kept deflecting the problem, saying line manager should have communicated the details of PAYG. But didn’t say the status of if it’s paid or when they will pay.
@tx HR Ops.
